Iron, sulfur, manganese all cause staining and odor issues. All of these problems can be eliminated with Oceanic Water System’s Air Injection System (AIO). 

Using the principle of oxidation the system forces the contaminates into contact with oxygen. Most older air injection systems consist of either two separate tanks or by using a Venturi valve to inject air into the water. cleaned and/or replaced. By utilizing a patented piston our Air Injection system is able to put the whole oxidation process inside one tank keeping maintenance costs and down time to a minimum. This is done by creating a bubble of pressurized air at the top of the tank (done during the backwash cycle). The air in the tank then oxidized the contaminates with the media trapping them. KDF-85 Process media is most effective in removing iron and hydrogen sulfide from water. Patented KDF process media are 100% recyclable and contain no chemical additives. KDF media is used to help safely reduce or remove chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals and bacteria from water. KDF 85 is used to add to an existing filter tank. You can add this to any other types of filter media such as a water softener or carbon tank to remove higher levels of sulfur, bacteria, or iron. You can add a few pounds or a whole drum depending on levels of iron and sulfur you are treating. Or is excellent for adding to refillable filter cartridges to treat iron and sulfur.

First Stage
20″ micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter to extract suspended materials such as sediment, rust, insects, and other particles down to 5 micron. This cartridge also extends life of other, more expensive cartridges and prevents damage

Second Stage
Multi-stage 20″ filter that consists of one micron filter pad, KDF85, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), and another 1-micron pad. This filter will remove hundreds of contaminants from water . Significantly extend the life of granular activated carbon while protecting the carbon bed against fouling by bacterial growth. Effectively remove chlorine and heavy metals and control microorganisms.
Third Stage
20″x 4.5″ solid carbon block cartridge to absorb heavy chlorine byproducts such as chloramines, THM, and TCE. The double carbon briquettes filter out organic matter from water without release of carbon fines. Also this carbon block removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents.
