Epoxy Metallic Floor: same rules applied as primer coat. Add metallic powdered pigments at a rate of 4oz to 1 gallon of Clear resin ( do not add hardener until you’re ready to mix ) Coverage Rate: 55 to 60 Sq.Ft per gallon. Apply with1/8″ x 1/8″ Notch rubber squeegee or magic trowel (works great for the professional, but not as consistent for first timer) pour a 5″ ribbon of mixed epoxy with hardener along wall approximately 6″ off wall, use squeegee East to West then West to East direction. When more epoxy is needed pour on wet on wet continue squeegee, repeat process until area is completed. The metal pigment for the course of the next 4 hours will start to take a new shape, new look and amazing finishes. Tip: Always mix epoxies with very slow speed squirrel mixer varies styles available, so not to introduce air which will create air bubbles. If bubbles are present 1-4 hours after install walk on with spike shoes to lightly pop with brush or torch.
