While traveling in Tokyo I enjoyed a whisky at a bar in Ebisu. It was served with a perfectly clear ice ball from a very expensive ice press that could only make one at a time and required that you started with a large clear ice block. We knew there must be a more efficient way to deliver this amazing experience at home- and so Wintersmiths was born.
