It offers good edge tear and split resistance and meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact. The polypropylene film backing easily conforms around edges and on rough surfaces for a tight seal and resists abrasion, moisture, chemicals and scuffing. Tape is easy to unwind and dispense with manual dispensers or 3M-Matic Case Sealers.

Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 375 features a polypropylene film backing with pressure-sensitive hot melt rubber resin adhesive. It is 3.1 mils thick with adhesion of 55 oz/in width, tensile strength of 35 lbs/in and elongation at break of 160%. The tape offers excellent edge tear and split resistance.
